NCAA Announces Player of the Week Monday, May 1st, 2028 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the NCAA, but last week Richard Shelton of the Saint John's Red Storm reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Shelton rocked opposing pitching for a .435 average (10-for-23), 6 home runs and 14 RBIs to come away with the award. Shelton is hitting .390 for the season with 12 home runs, 27 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has 41 hits in 105 at-bats and played in 28 games. |
