Hit Streak Now at 20 for Ríos Friday, April 28th, 2028 The Duke Blue Devils stopped the Texas A&M Aggies today 11-9 and Francisco Ríos was able to hit safely again. The Duke center fielder got 1 hit and ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20. Ríos was excited after the victory and told the press, "I want to get a hit every time up. I want to get a hit every game I play. I want to win every game for the greatest fans in the world, Blue Devils fans!" Francisco Ríos flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th, walked in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. Thus far in 2028 Ríos is hitting .359 with 8 home runs, 25 RBIs, 26 runs scored and has compiled a .465 OBP. |
