McDermott Gone for Season in Virginia Tech Tuesday, April 25th, 2028 The season is apparently over for Tony McDermott. The Virginia Tech Hokies medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 4 months with a torn triceps. McDermott was hurt in the game against Alabama while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. His record this season is 0-2 in 5 starts and McDermott has a 6.04 ERA. |
