Gators Russell Bailey Down and Out for Year Tuesday, April 18th, 2028 Russell Bailey will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Florida starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Bailey was injured while throwing a pitch in the Gators-Seminoles clash at McKethan Stadium recently. Doctors said he has a damaged elbow ligament and would be out a minimum of 17 months. This year Bailey has fashioned a 1-0 mark, 0.00 ERA and pitched 5.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .304 against him and he has logged 6 strikeouts. |
