21-Game Streak Ends, Billman Hitless Saturday, April 15th, 2028 Ryan Billman's 21-game hitting streak has now come and gone. It was snapped today in the Sun Devils 9-6 setback to the Musketeers. Billman went without a hit in 4 trips to the plate. Talking to BNN after the game he was visibly upset. But the streak had little to do with it. "I'm disappointed we lost, I'm not one bit disappointed that the streak ended," Billman said. "The hitting streak was just one of those things where it was fun while it lasted, but I'm not going to lose any sleep tonight." To date this year Billman is batting .386 with 1 home run. |
