Louisville's Downs Sidelined for Season Friday, April 14th, 2028 Kyle Downs of the Cardinals just might have to call it quits for the season. The 19-year-old Louisville reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Colorado Buffaloes recently at Buffaloes Ballpark. Downs suffered a torn triceps while throwing a pitch. The Cardinals medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 5 months. So far this year Downs has made 6 relief appearances with 1 save, thrown 13 innings and struck out 11 with a 0-0 record. |
