Adams Rips West Virginia for 5 Hits Sunday, April 9th, 2028 It was a big day for Eric Adams and he brought the Texas Christian Horned Frogs along for the ride. Adams led his club to a 10-6 victory over the West Virginia Mountaineers today at Lupton Stadium, smoking West Virginia pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. The 18-year-old right fielder later called the victory "pretty sweet." Eric Adams singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Dale Jordan in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.
