2027 Top Player Honored By PIO Friday, October 29th, 2027 The Pioneer League Outstanding Hitter Award has been selected for 2027 and the award goes to the standout Salem catcher Gilberto Silva. He starred this season with a .296 batting average, 167 hits, 33 home runs, 130 RBIs, a .385 OBP and 91 runs scored. António Camacho of the Jasper Cougars finished second in voting, while Jon Scott of the Jasper Cougars finished third. |
