PIO Honors Colorado Third Baseman Monday, August 14th, 2028 So far in his young career, Nick Vogel has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Pioneer League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Colorado Commanders third baseman hit at a torrid .545 clip as he collected 6 hits in 11 at-bats, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Vogel is hitting .260 this year with 5 home runs, 15 RBIs and 10 runs scored. He has 19 hits in 73 at-bats, 18 walks and a .402 on-base percentage. Vogel has played in 33 games. |
