Matthew Hernández Lost for Season Monday, July 31st, 2028 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Esquires when after today's game against the Commanders, the club found out they would be without the services of Matthew Hernández for at least 6 months. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Hernández was injured earlier today throwing a pitch and suffered a ruptured tricep tendon. For the season Hernández is 0-and-1 with no saves and a 1.46 ERA. He has given up 10 hits in 12.1 innings with 12 strikeouts. |
