Orcas Starter Named June's Premier Pitcher Saturday, July 1st, 2028 In June Nantucket starter, Stanley Wise really put the strong arm on the other Appalachian League teams and hauled in the Pitcher of the Month trophy. He did it with an impressive 4 wins and 1 loss. In 8 starts and 43.1 innings of work, Wise limited opposing batters to 38 base hits and a .226 batting average. He fanned 51, issued 13 walks and had a 2.91 ERA. In 22 starts this season Wise has registered a 6-8 record and a 3.97 ERA. |
