Nichols Honored by Appalachian League Monday, August 14th, 2028 Marvin Nichols burst onto the Appalachian League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie center fielder for Kenosha garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 22-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .522 (12-for-23) with 2 home runs and 11 RBIs last week. For the season Nichols is currently batting .283 with 23 home runs and 72 RBIs. In 119 games he has reached base at a .377 rate and scored 95 runs to date. |
