Reliever Cabral August's Pitcher of the Month Wednesday, September 1st, 2027 "The kid had it all working last month," a veteran teammate told reporters. "He keeps up those kind of numbers, we might have to start inviting him out with us after the games." Alfredo Cabral put together a very solid month to take home the Midwest League's top pitching honor in August. The 21-year-old reliever threw like a veteran. In 11 relief appearances he raked in 6 saves and 11 strikeouts in 14 innings as he put together his 4-0 record and 1.29 ERA. To date Cabral has 17 saves with a 5-4 season record and a 5.94 ERA. He also has made 59 relief appearances, thrown 69.2 innings and struck out 65. |
