Lynch Batters Newark for 5 Hits Thursday, July 20th, 2028 Shane Lynch found his groove in today's game versus the Newark Bulldogs and wrote his name in the league record book. His 5-for-5 performance at the plate unfortunately wasn't enough for the Reading Rainbows, as the club lost the game, 6-5. The 29-year-old right fielder told the press "it was one of those days where everything clicked." "I made solid contact, and the ball dropped in," Lynch said. Shane Lynch hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and singled in the 9th. So far this year Lynch is batting .293 with 11 home runs.
