Silva's Great Year Nets Outstanding Pitcher Award Sunday, October 15th, 2028 Manny Silva of the Rio Grande Rattlesnake impressed voters as one of the elite pitchers in the Eastern League this year. He capped off a sensational 11-7 season by taking home the coveted Outstanding Pitcher Award today. Making 26 starts, he tossed 159.1 innings, struck out 166, walked 49 and registered a 3.22 ERA. Nick Clayton of the Kingston Iguanas finished second in voting, while Jason MacKnight of the Reading Rainbows finished third. |
