ESL Premier Pitcher is Newark's Brown Friday, September 1st, 2028 Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask Bart Brown, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Newark Bulldogs closer, 22, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .180 average and walked away with the Eastern League Pitcher of the Month award for August. Brown posted a 2-1 mark and a 1.93 ERA in 13 relief appearances. In 14 innings, he had 10 saves, 13 strikeouts, and 5 walks. For the year Brown has 29 saves in 53 relief appearances with a 7-9 mark and 5.05 ERA. |
