Guzmán Gone for Season in Newark Thursday, August 31st, 2028 It was announced today in Newark that Bulldogs shortstop Gerardo Guzmán will be on the mend for 8 months because of a broken bone in the elbow he sustained in a recent game against the Kingston Iguanas. Guzmán was injured running the bases. In the current season, Guzmán has put up a .283 batting average with 127 hits, 17 home runs, 74 runs batted in and scored 127 runs. |
