ManBearPigs Price No-Hits Bulldogs Saturday, August 12th, 2028 Fans at Kelly/Shorts Stadium got a rare gift today as Rob Price of the ManBearPigs tossed a no-hitter against the Newark Bulldogs. Although Price did not appear to have his best stuff in the early innings, he turned masterful as the game went on, ultimately striking out 9 and walking 1 in a 4-0 Minnesota victory. "We had our chances in the first few innings when he was hittable, and we couldn't capitalize on them," Newark manager Eduardo Lara said later. "In the last four or five innings, he totally shut us down." In all, Price faced only 28 batters. While getting into his groove, he was helped by several defensive gems. "I don't remember a better-pitched game," ManBearPigs manager Reginaldo Asselin said. "And how about our defense today?" This season Price has compiled a 12-4 record with a 4.06 ERA.
