Coleman's 21-Game Hitting Streak Ends Thursday, June 22nd, 2028 Doug Coleman of the Gainesville Guidos came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 1 at-bat. That put a quick end to his 21-game hitting streak. To make matters even worse, Gainesville dropped the game to the Memphis Blues 21-8. In a postgame comment Coleman told the press, "It was not a good day today. We lost the game and the streak is over." Coleman currently has a .355 batting average with 54 hits, 2 homers, 17 RBIs, 19 runs scored and a .395 OBP. |
