Top Pitcher Award Announced by SNL Monday, October 16th, 2028 José Salinas joined an elite group of pitchers today by picking up the Southern League Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2028. The 27-year-old hurler finished the year 18-6 for the Beaumont Roughnecks, piling up 209.1 innings, registering 264 strikeouts and walking 49 on his way to a solid 2.84 ERA. Jim Fitzgerald of the Beaumont Roughnecks finished second in voting, while John Drake of the Wichita Wranglers finished third. |
