Season Possibly Over for Marvin López
Saturday, August 21st, 2027
The season is apparently over for Marvin López. The Montgomery Biscuits medical staff informed the club that the first baseman will be out at least 9 months with a broken bone in the elbow. López was hurt in the game against Salem while running the bases. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season.

This year López is batting .287 with 13 home runs and 67 RBIs. In 118 games he has scored 76 times.
