Fitzgerald Grabs SNL Top Pitcher Trophy Friday, September 1st, 2028 Over the past month Jim Fitzgerald has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Southern League. He proved all that and now he's been named August's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Beaumont Roughnecks posted 5-1 mark and a 2.31 ERA. In 6 starts he tossed 35 innings, permitted 28 hits and fanned 30 batters. On the season Fitzgerald has 17 wins and 5 losses and a 2.59 ERA. |
