Border Guards Pitching Ravaged by Wiggins Wednesday, May 31st, 2028 Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Randy Wiggins of the Culver City Extras had one of those moments when he went 5-for-6 at the plate today in the 14-2 win over the Bismark Border Guards at Roger Maris Field. "I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 22-year-old center fielder told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years." Randy Wiggins flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Bartolomeo Balsamo in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and singled in the 9th. This year Wiggins has socked 59 hits in 181 at-bats for a .326 average with 3 home runs. He is getting on base at a .403 pace and his totals also include 36 RBIs and 31 runs scored.
