Super Swinger -- Casillán Slams 5 Hits Monday, May 29th, 2028 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Raúl Casillán today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Proton Place and paced the Ghostbusters to a 10-8 win over the Balzac Rams. After his dynamite batting performance, the Moose Jaw center fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Raúl Casillán walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Nick Johnson in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 8th, singled in the 11th and walked in the 13th. Casillán is hitting .324 for the season with 11 home runs, 48 RBIs and 40 runs scored. He has 67 hits in 207 at-bats and played in 51 games. View Boxscore View Game Log |
