Barrage of Hits Gets Ibarra NWL Award Monday, August 21st, 2028 Luis Ibarra burst onto the Northwest League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie right fielder for Red Deer garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 24-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .471 (16-for-34) with 3 home runs and 10 RBIs last week. To date, Ibarra has collected 154 hits for a .335 average. He has posted 26 home runs, scored 86 runs and driven in 112 runs. |
