For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Gonzalo Gil, it came around today. The 24-year-old shortstop scattered hits all over Red Hot Stadium to pace the Albuquerque Isotopes to a 13-7 victory over the District 9 Prawns. District 9 skipper José Lara told reporters in the press room that "Gil deserves a hat-tip." "He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Gil hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit." Gonzalo Gil singled in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
