Miranda Has 25-Game Hitting Streak Saturday, May 6th, 2028 Long hitting streaks don't happen very often and when they happen it perks up everybody's interest. No one knows how long it will go -- it could end tomorrow -- but baseball fans and Gabriel Miranda are enjoying the moment right now. The 30-year-old Gresham third baseman extended his string to 25 consecutive games in Mohave County Field today. Miranda got 1 hit, but the Spokane Trappers got the victory. They toppled the Gold Souls 11-8. Gabriel Miranda flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and singled in the 8th. So far this season Miranda has hit .337 with 5 home runs, 17 RBIs and and scored 13 times. |
