Cabaņas to Retire, May Enter Governor's Race Monday, November 6th, 2028 Hammertime left fielder Juan Cabaņas announced today that he is retiring from baseball. What he does next is still anyone's guess. The popular Cabaņas has been rumored to be considering a run for political office, namely governor. "He hasn't told me what his plans are," said Houston manager Carlos Castillo. "I know he has an interest in politics, but he hasn't tipped his hand yet, either way." Asked whether he thought Cabaņas was qualified to hold public office, "Castillo replied, "Definitely. I think he'd be a great governor. He's has exactly the kind of leadership skills this state needs." Associates say Cabaņas will make a decision on his future in the next few weeks. |
