Alberto Ruíz Will Miss 9-10 Months Thursday, September 21st, 2028 The season is finished for Alberto Ruíz of the Albuquerque Isotopes. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Isotopes reliever suffered a stretched elbow ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the District 9 Prawns. Team doctors said it would take at least 9-10 months to heal. So far this season Ruíz has picked up 1 save in 23 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 0-1 won-lost mark with a 8.57 ERA and fanned 27 batters in 34.2 innings. |
