Albuquerque's Nelson Out 4-5 Months Friday, September 15th, 2028 The Isotopes received bad news this morning. Ken Nelson will miss 4-5 months due to a torn back muscle. He sustained the injury in the Albuquerque-Santa Monica game while making a defensive play. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Nelson sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." This year Nelson is batting .279 with 4 home runs and 20 RBIs. In 38 games he has scored 14 times. |
