Injury Sidelines David Hernández For Year Friday, September 1st, 2028 David Hernández is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Houston organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 5-6 months with a strained hip muscle. The 25-year-old second baseman suffered the injury running the bases in a recent game against the Redwood City Redwoods. Currently Hernández is batting .329 with 19 home runs, 114 RBIs and 89 runs scored. |
