20-Game Streak Ends, Cruz Hitless Sunday, July 30th, 2028 Fernando Cruz's sizzling streak was snapped at 20 today as the Waba Ducks dropped a game to the Utica Unicorns 3-1 at Utica Field. Cruz failed to get a hit and went 0-for-2. After the game Cruz spoke with BNN and said, "This was quite a streak. I just ran into some good pitching today." Cruz is hitting .323 so far this season with 23 RBIs and 29 runs scored. He has 54 hits including 1 home run, 12 walks and .370 OBP. |
