RP Gonzalo Martínez Hurt Thursday, June 15th, 2028 It took the Birmingham team doctor a while to realize it, but reliever Gonzalo Martínez won't simply play through a bone spur in his elbow after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's X-Wings-Barons game. At first, it looked like Martínez might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 4-5 months. Season-to-date Martínez has no saves in no relief appearances with a 5-5 record and 4.40 ERA. |
