von Bohlen Bashes 5 Base Hits Saturday, September 23rd, 2028 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Bryant von Bohlen today -- a 5-hit day. He went on a rampage and sparkled on the diamond at Isotopes Ballpark, but the performance lost a little luster when the Barons were downed 14-13 by the Havana Rollers. After his glittering performance, the Birmingham catcher told the press that he "just tried to get myself in a good count and have a good at-bat." His batting theory paid dividends today as he slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book. "I just wish we had added a win in the record book today, too," von Bohlen said. Bryant von Bohlen singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
