Tuscaloosa Captures Wild Card Friday, September 22nd, 2028 It was no easy task for the Tuscaloosa Trout Slayers to capture a wild card spot, but the team's players can now breathe easy, knowing they will be a part of the International League postseason. "They made us work for it. There aren't many easy games in the International League," said starting pitcher Tom Cunningham. "We would have liked to have won our way into the playoffs sooner, but we'll take it." The team's record currently sits at 96-63 and they will be vying for the 10th International League championship in franchise history. |
