Ducks Snap Crosby's Streak at 28 Wednesday, September 20th, 2028 Richmond triumphed over Waba today 11-3. However, that was not the whole story. Flairs right fielder R.J. Crosby failed to get a hit for the first time in 28 games. Crosby went hitless in 3 at-bats and had his streak broken. Commenting to reporters at his press conference, he said, "Some days the past few weeks I carried the club, today they carried me. No matter what, it is always good to win a ballgame." This year Crosby is hitting at a .303 pace with 27 home runs and 99 RBIs. He has played in 120 games and scored 80 times. |
