Bats Are Champs of International League West Thursday, September 14th, 2028 The Louisville Bats are champions of the International League West, but don't plan the parade quite yet. "It's a nice accomplishment, but we haven't done anything until we win the ITL Championship," said starting pitcher George Moore. "We're going to celebrate this for sure, but the real celebration is still to come for fans in Louisville." The club's record currently sits at 93-59. It is the team's 3rd division title and they will be seeking the franchise's 1st International League championship. Team manager Rafael Sorondo said he'll take some time to celebrate the division title, but then it's "back to work" for members of the team and coaching staff. |
