No Playoff Berth Coming for Birmingham Monday, September 4th, 2028 It has been a woeful season for the Birmingham Barons and now they have been officially eliminated from playoff contention. "You always need some things to break your way to get into the playoffs," said manager Miguel Reyes. "And nothing broke our way this year." Birmingham last appeared in the postseason in 2012. This is their 16th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 20 times in their 21-year history. |
