Henderson Batters Waba for 5 Hits Wednesday, August 9th, 2028 It was a good day at Louisville Slugger Field. The Louisville Bats whipped the Waba Ducks 16-11 and third baseman Alex Henderson showed off a hot bat, going 5-for-5 at the plate. "Some days, lady luck is on your side," Henderson told BNN reporters after the game. Bats manager Rafael Sorondo told the beat writers otherwise, calling the 26-year-old "focused and patient." "It's not luck," he said. "He has a solid approach to hitting. Alex hits to all fields. The more solid at-bats you put together, the more success you're going to have." Alex Henderson hit a two-run home run off Sang-joon Pak in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th and singled in the 7th.
