Great Stroke: Salazar Gets 5 Hits Friday, July 24th, 2026 5 hits in a game doesn't happen every day. Santa Clarita's Rubén Salazar had a very special day against the Darth Whalers when everything came together for him and he did just that -- collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and led the Santa Clarita Music to a 12-11 win at Santa Clarita Grounds. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Salazar said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Rubén Salazar doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th. This season Salazar has hit at a .400 clip with 10 RBIs, 0 home runs and 5 runs scored. |
