Best SL1 Pitcher Announced Wednesday, October 27th, 2027 This year there was no one better on the mound than Jesús Gonzáles. Posting 7 wins and a 1.69 ERA was only part of the story for the Oceanside superstar. For his outstanding performance in 2027 he was chosen as the Sub League 1 Pitcher of the Year Award winner. From start to finish Gonzáles never let up. In 14 starts he recorded 7 wins and 2 losses, 80 innings, 96 strikeouts, 16 walks, yielded 49 hits, and permitted opposing batters to hit .174 against him. Francisco López of the Long Beach KO finished second in voting, while Juan Rodríguez of the Long Beach KO finished third. |
