Calderón Sizzles in No-Hitter Wednesday, September 8th, 2027 There was magic on the mound today at Headhunters Ballpark as Watertown Headhunters starter Vicente Calderón no-hit the San Pablo de las Salinas Doctors. Calderón held San Pablo de las Salinas hitters spellbound and helpless in a masterful display of pitching, leading the Headhunters to a 6-0 win. "It was like I was in a dream," Calderón said afterward. "The ball just went right where I wanted it to." In his mound masterpiece, Calderón rang up 11 strikeouts and issued no walks.
