González Bags SL1 Best Player Award Monday, August 16th, 2027 It was announced today that Elkins right fielder Ángel González had received the Sub League 1 Player of the Week Award for his impressive play last week. All week long he was terrific at the plate and won the honor with a .379 BA (11-for-29), 6 home runs and 13 RBIs. In his stats this season, González has posted a batting average of .294 with 30 hits in 102 at-bats, 9 home runs and 30 RBIs. He has also scored 17 runs, walked 8 times and compiled a .354 OBP. |
