HSCL's #1 Player, Valdéz of Indianapolis HS Monday, May 10th, 2027 When it came to hitting the baseball, Juan Valdéz was in a class by himself in the High School CL this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding catcher for Indianapolis HS tagged opposing pitchers for a .552 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 16 hits in 29 at-bats, 3 homers, 11 runs scored and 9 RBIs. This year Valdéz is hitting .350, produced 36 RBIs and 4 home runs, scored 28 times and gotten on base at a .484 rate. |
