Indianapolis HS's Smith to Miss Season Tuesday, May 4th, 2027 Indianapolis HS Rifles starting pitcher Paul Smith left yesterday's game against the Madawaska Valley HS Wolves after suffering a torn ulnar collateral ligament throwing a pitch. Smith was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Smith is expected to miss 18 months. Thus far this season, Smith has worked 22 innings with 21 strikeouts en route to a 0-3 record and a 7.36 ERA. |
