30-Game Hitting Streak for Músquez Monday, April 19th, 2027 The Temiskaming District Secondary School Saints stopped the Jeffersonville-Youngsville Central HS Trojans today 23-8 and Carlos Músquez was able to hit safely again. The Temiskaming District Secondary School first baseman got 1 hit and ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 30. Músquez was excited after the victory and told the press, "I want to get a hit every time up. I want to get a hit every game I play. I want to win every game for the greatest fans in the world, Saints fans!" Carlos Músquez walked in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, flied out in the 7th, walked in the 8th, hit a two-run single in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th. This season Músquez is batting .354 with 2 home runs. He has scored 11 runs and driven in 13. |
