Big Bat Pays Off, Campbell Player of the Week Monday, April 19th, 2027 The hottest bat of the week belonged to Madawaska Valley HS right fielder Bob Campbell. He went on a rampage last week against HSCL hurlers and rapped out 18 hits in 28 at-bats for a .643 average while hitting no home runs, driving in 8 runs and scoring 6 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the High School CL Player of the Week trophy. Campbell was honored today at a press conference. Thus far this year Campbell is hitting .506 with no home runs, 26 RBIs and 21 runs scored. |
