Roberts Torches Red Wings for 5 Hits Sunday, April 19th, 2026 It doesn't happen very often, but it happened for Flynn Roberts -- a 5-hit day. He went on a rampage at Trawlers Ballpark and paced the Raiders to a 16-9 win over the Fresno HS Red Wings. After his dynamite batting performance the Randall HS left fielder told the press, "I just tried to get myself in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid some great dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Flynn Roberts tripled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 7th. Roberts is batting .361 this year with 1 home run, 15 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He has 26 hits in 72 at-bats. |
