The postseason race came down to the final days of the season, but in the end Wake Forest has outlasted division rivals to claim the top spot, for the 2nd time in franchise history. "We want to bring the 1st CWS Championship to Wake Forest. For our fans, our players, our coaches, our city, that's what it's all about," said an excited Keith Hill. The starting pitcher went on to say that no matter who his team is up against, he considers them favorites. "I like our chances," he said. "We've got a lot of confidence right now." |
