Kansas Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Tuesday, May 25th, 2027 Members of the Kansas Jayhawks are left wondering what could have been today, as the team has been eliminated from postseason contention. "You look back at a handful of games that easily could have gone the other way for us," said second baseman Johnny Hawson. "We really think we were good enough to get to the playoffs this year, so it stings." Kansas last appeared in the postseason in 2023. This is their 4th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 18 times in their 20-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Jayhawks have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
